The new TRYP by Wyndham Dubai is a bustling hotel for the urban traveller; whether it’s for business or a city break, this is a great option for a more affordable stay in Dubai. Described as an urban hangout spot, TRYP is reaching out to the millennial crowd, while attracting friends and families alike. Centrally located in Barsha Heights (formerly Tecom) TRYP is massively accessible to the city’s key attractions and transport hubs. I had my own little stop-over and got myself acquainted with the hotel, particularly the brand new co-working space – NEST, which recently hatched on the first floor, making it one of the world’s first full-service co-working spaces integrated with a major internationally branded hotel.
‘Space to Hatch. Room to Soar.’ The vision for NEST is to become Dubai’s most innovative, creative and entrepreneurial community under one roof – acting as a catalyst for new ideas, a space to create, and to inspire concepts that continue to drive the city as a global hub of innovation and business excellence. So how does NEST intend to spread these motivational vibes to the Dubai masses? Well, not only is the space a co-working hub, there is also an events space that can be booked out and sectioned off for talks, workshops, and concept launches – with everyone very much a participant with the freedom to engage and take part.
There are so many entrepreneurs in this city; people want to create, they want to accomplish, and they want to be their own bosses. So if that’s the trend, then places like NEST are perfect for promoting this culture of innovative startups and aspiring entrepreneurs.
I mean, you don’t have to be the next Elon Musk to qualify, you may just be looking for a change of scenery from the office, and that’s cool too. It’s a membership-setup with each package giving you specific access and perks. Members can work from NEST whenever it suits, as well as enjoying the benefits of dining discounts, pool and gym access, free valet parking, and preferred room rates at TRYP by Wyndham Dubai. It’s pretty cool how they work hand in hand, because the hotel access gives members that time to unwind and take a break from the screen if they fancy a dip in the pool or lunch at one of their restaurants.
Powered by the City, this is a hotel designed for the modern traveller, and might I add, the world’s largest TRYP by Wyndham to date (it is Dubai after all). You’ve got everything you need for a comfortable stay, and plenty to go out and do about town. The hotel is easily accessible by metro or taxi, which is perfect for tourists doing trips here and there throughout their trip.
The design is contemporary, yet simple, and the hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Keeping you active, you’ve got Abz Gym – providing a much-needed workout break for those business trips that keep you in meetings all day. On the food front, you’ve got access to Local for all your meals, or you can head up to L!QD pool bar, if you fancy relaxing by the pool while you chow down on some fritto misto. For the nights out there’s Barbary, TRYP’s vintage Parisian deli and cocktail club, which will give you a chance to get your dancing shoes on for the night, before you retreat back to your room.
For all information on NEST & REST rates, check out their website – and whether it’s work you’re going to be doing, or just heading over for a city break, then TRYP by Wyndham Dubai is a great shout for your next DXB stay.
