I‘ve got a new favourite activewear brand, and it’s called Varley. With headquarters in London and Los Angeles, Varley is the epitome of athleisure wear and I can’t get enough of it. The range is feminine, comfortable and incredibly versatile – so you can mix and match pieces depending on your sport of choice – whether at the studio, the gym, or make it an everyday casual staple.

Working in sports means that my dress code is fairly relaxed, so I find that slipping on a pair of Varley leggings is an easy way to get that sports-luxe look, and it means that I am ridiculously comfortable all day long. Whether I am at my desk, dipping in and out of meetings, or heading to a shoot, I find that my go-to is often Varley activewear.

The brand boasts a wide range of leggings, sports bras, crop tops, sweats and tees – and all very aesthetically pleasing, with fresh prints from season to season. My favourites so far are: the Sofia Compression Leggings in navy blue (pictured above) and the Pacific Python Compression Leggings (pictured below) – both purchased at Sun & Sand Sports online.

These Varley leggings are great for Pilates, because they are softer and more supple than other brands, and yet they still provide a lot of structure and shape. I am also one for dressing comfortably when travelling, and I like to travel a lot, so I tend to mix and match my Varleys on my trips. There’s nothing worse than being on a night flight wearing a pair of uncomfortable jeans, so I am all for the leggings when jet-setting.

If you’re a fan of jet-setting in general, you might want to read more from the Explorer section, and more about why travel is so good for us.
